We provide website rental services that include website design, hosting, domain management, email setup, maintenance, updates, and support for a fixed monthly fee over a 24-month period.
All websites remain the property of the service provider unless purchased by the client under the buy-out option.
All website rental agreements run for a minimum period of 24 months from the website go-live date.
After the 24-month term, the client may:
Payments are billed monthly in advance.
Persistent non-payment may result in service termination.
The rental fee includes:
Additional work outside the package scope may be billed separately.
The website remains the property of the service provider during the rental period.
The client may purchase the website at a pre-agreed buy-out amount after the website goes live or upon cancellation.
Once purchased, full ownership and access will be transferred to the client.
6.1 This Agreement includes a minimum non-cancellable period of twelve (12) months from the website go-live date.
6.2 If the Client elects to cancel the Agreement within the first 12 months, the Client shall remain liable for the full outstanding balance of the initial 12-month period, which shall become immediately due and payable.
6.3 After the initial 12-month period, the Client may cancel this Agreement at any time by providing one (1) calendar month’s written notice – for free.
6.4 If cancellation occurs after the first 12 months but before the expiry of the 24-month Minimum Term, the Client must either:
a) Exercise the Buy-Out Option in terms of Clause 7, or
b) Allow the website and related services to be terminated after the notice period.
6.5 No cancellation penalty fee applies after the first 12 months.
The buy-out price will be agreed upon when the website goes live.
Once paid, the client will receive:
Hosting and support will then become the client’s responsibility unless a new agreement is made.
The client agrees to:
The service provider is not responsible for copyright or legal issues arising from client-supplied content.
Minor content changes are included.
Major redesigns, structural changes, or feature additions may be quoted separately.
Support is provided during business hours unless otherwise agreed.
Emergency support may be billed separately.
We are not liable for:
All design, code, and systems remain intellectual property of the service provider unless purchased by the client.
We reserve the right to terminate service if:
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time with notice.
Content changes and software support are included in the Client’s selected package and are limited to the monthly time allowance specified within that package.
If the allocated time allowance for the month has been reached, any additional requests will either:
a) Be deferred to the following month when the new monthly allowance becomes available, or
b) Be completed using the applicable hourly rate as outlined in the Add-On Services schedule.
All additional work beyond the included monthly allowance will only be undertaken with the Client’s approval.
By signing up for our website rental service, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
